Center Valley, Pa. - Patriot League Associate Executive Director of Sport Management and Governance Joanna Kreps has recently begun serving as the Co-Chair of the Collegiate Commissioners Association of Compliance Administrators (CCACA) for the 2008-09 academic year. Joe D'Antonio of the Big East Conference will serve as the other Co-Chair.

The CCACA includes the senior compliance administrators at each of the NCAA Division I Conferences and works to address collective legislative issues of the respective memberships. The group meets once a month via conference call and once a year in person.

Kreps' appointment as Co-Chair comes after she was recently chosen to represent the Patriot League on the NCAA Division I Legislative Council, which is the primary legislative body in Division I.

In her role at the Patriot League, Kreps is primarily responsible for overseeing the work of the League's 23 sports committees and governance process, including providing leadership for coaches' and administrative meetings, developing and implementing sport regulations, developing League schedules and assisting with conduct of League championships. She also works with the Patriot League Sportsmanship Committee.

Kreps serves on the NCAA Green Team, and began a Patriot League Team Green committee to focus on environmental protection and promotion through athletics. She was promoted to Associate Executive Director for Sports Management and Governance/Senior Woman Administrator in July of 2006 after joining the Patriot League in December 2004 as an Assistant Executive Director.
