Ataefiok Etukeren and Travis Mack Named 2nd Team All-Patriot League Football
WASHINGTON, D.C. ,, Georgetown University senior DL Ataefiok Etukeren (Litchfield Park, Ariz./The Lawrenceville School[N.J.]) and junior DB Travis Mack (West Chester, Pa./The Hill School) were named to the 2008 Patriot League Football second team when the honors were announced by the league on Tuesday morning. The 2008 All-Patriot League football team was selected by the leaguefs seven head coaches.

Former Georgetown Captain Joe Lonardo to Serve as Honorary Captain for Hoya Game Against Fordham on Saturday in Season Finale
When he was a student at Georgetown, Joe Lonardo (C'69) remembered hearing stories about the glory days of Georgetown football. He remembered former football players coming back to campus and talking about the teams that laid the foundation for the program.

Senior Nick Umar's Interception Seals 13-12 Victory Over Marist on Senior Day
Washington, D.C. - With two minutes remaining on the clock, and the Georgetown University football team (2-7) holding on to a slim lead, senior defensive end Nick Umar (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) intercepted a Chris Debowski pass to secure a 13-12 win over the Marist Red Foxes (3-7) a fitting home-finale for the senior on Senior Day.
